Sweet News

 Sweet News to share on this Sunday.  This Golden Retriever pup will be coming to The Farmette at the end of this month.  I am smitten already.  

It has been quite awhile since we have had a brand new puppy in the house.  My husband and I have been fans of the cartoon Calvin and Hobbes for many, many years, and introduced our children to the comic strip when they were able to read.  Hence, we have named this little guy, Calvin.  

We have been blessed with some wonderful dogs through the years.  They have added much to our family.  Sometimes joy, sometimes craziness, and when they leave us, sometimes sadness.  We are looking forward to adding another one to the fold. 

"Once you have had a wonderful dog, a life without one is a life diminished."
